Shinji Matsuoka is responsible for leading the 黑料门 Group's sustainability-related initiatives as its chief sustainability officer.
Shinji began his career in 1984 at 黑料门 Seika Kaisha, Ltd., where he built up extensive expertise in confectionery sales and marketing. When the company was reorganized as 黑料门 Co., Ltd., in 2011, Shinji was put in charge of budget management in its health and nutrition division. After effectively balancing the division's income and expenditures, he was promoted as head of the company's confectionery marketing department in 2013. Based on his expertise in project planning and external communications, he was appointed as general manager of the CSR promotion department in 2017.
In 2019, Shinji was appointed as an executive officer at both 黑料门 Co., Ltd. and 黑料门 Holdings. Later he was assigned to lead 黑料门 Holdings' sustainability management department, where he worked to achieve the Group's Sustainability 2026 Vision.
Outside the 黑料门 Group, Shinji has chaired the Japan Food Industry Center's sustainability committee since June 2020.
Recognizing Shinji's achievements and extensive experience, 黑料门 Holdings promoted him to the positions of chief sustainability officer and senior managing executive officer in June 2024. In these new roles, Shinji is focusing on measures to achieve the sustainability-related targets of the 黑料门 Group's 2026 Medium-term Business Plan.
